Unable to ping host when host is being monitored by zabbix proxy server

I have setup a Zabbix proxy server to monitor remote devices. I have those remote devices like routers and switches to point to the Zabbix-proxy IP for SNMP and that works fine. When I go to Monitoring and pick a host that is monitored by the proxy and go to latest data, ICMP entries show the errors "At least one of '/usr/sbin/fping', '/usr/sbin/fping6' must exist. Both are missing in the system." but fping/fping6 is running on both the zabbix server and proxy in the correct folder

Oddly enough, the zabbix-proxy is registered with the zabbix server (10.1.1.185)

So at the end of the day, why are the pings and other scripts not working for any device monitored by the zabbix proxy?
