Stop web scenario or other item checks during maintenance windows

we have a number of hosts with web scenarios and also normal items.
We wantto stop the item checks and web scenarios from running during a maintenance window, not just suppress the data collection.

is this possible?

You can disable the web scenarios

or the item itself

is that a manual step, though?
I do not want to manually set the item to not be processed during maintenance periods.
Is there a way to schedule item checks?

for example, we want to stop zabbix from making web connections to a set of servers for a period during the night as we are finding this causes some back-end services to trigger when we do nto want them to be triggered.

or did i miss something in the screenshots.

Im doing it manually , you can click on "activate" do deactivate or pick all of them at once

First you click on the checkbox above the hosts and then below on "deactivate"



I think the solution is here , you can modify the items and i believe adjust when they are catching data

I forgot about that field in the Item.
and kept thinking maintenance period meant stop the check not just the data collection.

actually, web scenarios do not seem to have schedule.
but thanks for pointing out the schedule on the items for a host
