Zabbix best practice for hardware server

    Hello,
What is best practice for monitoring hardware server where OS and BMC isolated?
OS operate with zabbix agent in network LAN1 with monitoring over zabbix_proxy1. BMC IPMI/SNMP operate in network LAN2 with monitoring over zabbix_proxy2.
Non of zabbix_proxy have access to another network segment (network segmentation and firewalling).

Should each server contains 2 host in zabbix (1 for OS, 1 for BMC)? Is that right way?
Is exist some plan to make per host interface proxy configuration (not per host)?

Agnet can have multiple agent interfaces and you can manually change, which item is checked by which IF... but you cannot assign 2 different proxies to same host, based on which IF is used.. No idea, if anyone proposed that already, you can poke around in ZBXNEXT tickets... https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBXNEXT
So yes, you would need 2 different hosts defined with different proxies, one with agent interface, one with snmp/IPMI...

      Ok, thanks.
Request exists https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBXNEXT-1411 and its very old. It seems that this is not the architectural approach of Zabbix.
