We want start using Zabbix in our ISP company.
We have around 300 devices (Access Points, MikroTiks, Radiolines etc. mostly radio stuff) in our infrastructure.
Zabbix working parameters:
-as Virtual Machine in ESXI 6.0
-Resources assigned to Zabbix server:
-2 Cores 4 Threads Intel Xeon E3-1230 v5 , 4GB RAM, Intel SSD 740 PCIe 3.0 NVMe 400GB HHHL
-Installed on Ubuntu Server 16.04 LTS with MySQL db.
- Zabbix version 3.2
Status of Zabbix:
Zabbix server is running Yes localhost:10051
Number of hosts (enabled/disabled/templates) 317 (296*/*0*/*21)
Number of items (enabled/disabled/not supported) 2000 (1995*/*0*/*5)
Number of triggers (enabled/disabled [problem/ok]) 444 (442 / 2 [2*/*440])
Required server performance, new values per second 409.53
Zabbix server conf parameters:
StartPollers=40
StartPollersUnreachable=40
StartPingers=120
CacheSize=1G
StartDBSyncers=4
HistoryCacheSize=128M
TrendCacheSize=128M
Timeout=15
We want monitor every device with ICMP in Zabbix with 1 second interval.
We also using some snmp stuff but there is no problem with interval in that case, in snmp we use invervals 5 seconds to 60 seconds
Our fping item parameters below:

Fping graph for same item.
As you can see it shoud be 60 pings on this example device but its some time holes and on the graph we can see some data holes to.
ICMP ping template with my posted above paramets is applied to all those 300 devices.
If i apply this template for 20 devices there is no problem with time holes.
Where is problem?
Zabbix cant do this ping for such meny devices with this interval ? Or its configuration problem?
