Zabbix Upgrade from 7.4.0 to 7.4.3

    Hi,

I tried multiple times to upgrade to minor version 7.4.3 but no luck. The instructions say run apt update and apt install --only-upgrade 'zabbix-server*' but it always comes back to the latest is already installed v7.4.0.
Checking all other components, it all points to v7.4.0 and nothing has been updated. As I cannot find anything more after spending hours googling and research, is there a very simple documentation on how to do this?
We are running Ubuntu 24.04 as the OS and v7.4.0 as the Zabbix Server. Nothing really complicated but I'm frustrated that this upgrade is not working. Can someone give me an advice please?

    Thanks

What happens if you run apt clean?

Nah, doesn't do anything > same issue after I ran it.

        How about overwriting the repository?
In fact, that's how it's done in the documentation's upgrade procedure.

As shown in the [On Ubuntu 24.04, run:] section of

        run the following commands:
        wget https://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/7.4/r...u24.04_all.deb

        dpkg -i zabbix-release_latest+ubuntu24.04_all.deb

After executing these commands, if you perform the upgrade operation (I always lazily use `apt -yV full-upgrade --autoremove`), I think it will upgrade to 7.4.4.

However, if you are specifically trying to upgrade to 7.4.3, this method won't work (it will upgrade to 7.4.4).

Hi, thanks for the information but it seems, that I'm still stuck running this - see below screenshot - after I ran dpkg command it doesn't show me something like 7.4.4. Also it appears that after Hit:6 there is a timeout and continues shortly after

Then I ran apt update but nothing new still. Do I have to update the rest of the 64 packages as well?

updates for Ubuntu was just released, so perhaps the distribution server is overloaded? > [timeout].

Zabbix should be upgraded if you run the command
            apt install --only-upgrade zabbix-server-mysql zabbix-frontend-php zabbix-agent(or agent2)
as mentioned in the aforementioned document. However, since several updates were released yesterday, including linux-headers-6.8.0-87:amd64 and linux-tools-common, it's a good idea to determine which updates you need and install them accordingly.
