    Monitoring Cisco Switches CBS350, SG500 and SG350.

    Hello,

I want to monitoring Cisco switches from the CBS350, SG500 and SG350 series. I tried using the official template "Cisco IOS by SNMP", and other third-party templates, and they work for collect data about the switch interfaces, but none of them collect data about the switch CPU and RAM usage.
I read in an article that these switches do not use Cisco IOS, bit I haven't found a specific template for them. Is there a template available to monitor this data on these models?

    Thank you

    Regards

Hi, we are monitoring some cbs350 and cbs250 using template "Cisco IOS by SNMP" and i have just noticed in cbd, that cpu on some of them is running on 100% and there is no alert. CPU's are not discovered. It has probably different SNMP structure?

Zabbix Community Templates repository. Contribute to zabbix/community-templates development by creating an account on GitHub.

There are templates there for Cisco SB/BS switches and have the old "Radlan" OIDs for system monitoring [eg CPU]. They are not made using interface discovery, however, so they are model-specific which is a cumbersome way of managing templates.
I have attached the template I use. It links in factory Zabbix templates for ping and interface discovery. There is a note in there about interface discovery being disabled, but that's specific to my system as it is disabled in "Interfaces by SNMP".
The only items on the template itself are Cisco SB-specific OIDs.

Thank you for this Template. I can't use because is for Zabbix version 7 and I have Zabbix version 6 (I need to update it), but yesterday I try one of the templates of the community, the "Cisco_SG300-52-d" and that template queries the same OID for CPU usage that your template, and it seems to work well with a switch Cisco SBS350.

I'll keep investigating to see if there's a way to monitor RAM too.

        Thank you.
