    Zabbix SNMP to Windows Machines

We are new to Zabbix and need a way to monitor Windows servers without deploying agents but still want to get as much info out of them as possible. Can we monitor the servers in Zabbix via SNMP?

Yes, SNMP is an option. You would know it, if you read at least a bit of docs...

But do you think configuring SNMP on those hosts is somehow easier, that deploying an agent?

No, the agent would be much easier, but I dont own the company and do not get to have the final say in these issues.

Update: I found that SNMP attempts now that I have the "Windows by SNMP" template on the Host. But now I am getting cannot retrieve OID: '.1.3.6.1.2.1.1.4.0' from [[XX.XX.XXX.XX:161]: timed out.
