Hi,
We have outsourced a few of our new Fortigate firewalls, but we still monitor stats on them.
Problem we are experiencing though is that when the ports/interfaces are discovered, the Alias names are used.
For example Port 1 connected to ISP1 & is named as such for Outsourced Partner ticketing & resolution, so the interface has Alias "Port 1 - ISP1-CIDxxxx" & Port 2 is connecting to ISP2 & has the alias " Port 2 - ISP2CIDxxxx".
Obviously the values for ISP 1 CIDxxxx & ISP2CIDxxxx varies based on the Circuit IDs, so we can't use blanket port 1 & 2 Dashboard for all Devices, as all devices Port1/2 have different names for the ports (interfaces).
is it possible to ignore the aliases & only use the actual Interface/port name/number, when displaying metric values on Dashboard ?
For Global view :
If I am not making myself clear, please advise.
Many Thx
Sean
