WebUI not completely working on Zabbix-Server 7.4 (Apache2)

    Hey y'all,

I installed Zabbix-Packages (MySQL, Zabbix-Server, Zabbix-Agent, Apache2) yesterday on a Linux Ubuntu VM and I run into a problem with accessing the Zabbix-Server WebUI (Frontend).

On the local machine (Linux Ubuntu VM) I can use the full WebUI (Login, Buttons etc.) and can set up everything, but if I try to access the WebUI from another machine (e.g. Windows) via the web browser (e.g. Firefox, Chrome) I can only log-into the Zabbix-Server (Frontend), but cannot see the graphs (Dashboards) or select menus. The Website just doesn't react to my inputs.

What could be configured falsely for my use case (Connecting to Zabbix-Server via another PC in the same network)?

OK, it's definitely a browser issue, because on Chrome Version 131.0.6778.109 the WebUI works without any issues.

    Thanks for the help!

did you opened web server port in firewall ?
what does command systemctl is-active ufw shows to you ?
If it is active , ufw allow 80/http or/and ufw allow 403/https .

But you can have some clues by pressing F12 in chrom and look what your browser is fetching and what fails exactly.
It may be that some elements are read from cache. Clear browser cache as well.

          Editing a comment
I typed in the command about the firewall.
It's active; I afterwards allowed port 80 and 403 and then restarted the Apache- and Zabbix-server by systemctl restart apache2 zabbix-server.

              hi,
              1. ping the server from the client
              2. check the 80 or 443 port from client with telnet command or curl command like this:
              telnet 192.168.32.25 80
              curl -v telnet://192.168.32.25:80

if error accured got to server console and check if port 80 is listened or not:
              ss -nltp
if it listened, check firewall with ufw command

The issue is likely that your Zabbix frontend or Apache is configured to use localhost. To fix it, make sure Apache is listening on all interfaces and in zabbix.conf.php, set $ZBX_SERVER to the VM’s IP address instead of localhost. Also, ensure firewall ports 80/443 are open.
