    Issue with template permissions

Zabbix 7.4 on AlmaLinux 9. I am running my Zabbix server for multi-tenant use.

For this example, I have a tenant called 'CAMEO', and I want it to have dominion on all templates assigned to this group, but still have read access to the other templates. So I do this in the 'Template permissions' tab for the CAMEO user group:

Name:	image.png
Views:	27
Size:	32.7 KB
ID:	512172
But when a user of that group logs in, he only sees the CAMEO templates. From all my readings, the above setting should be correct. Any hints?

IIRC, for actually seeing inside the template you still need RW rights... Just R will show template names in hosts config instead of "hidden template" or something similar... Tempalte rigths are similar to hosts rights... RW will show under "Data collection", R just under "monitoring" part...

My goal would be for all different tenants to see the entire collection of templates, and if they want to edit one, they clone it to their tenant folder (where they have RW privileges) and modify it there.

It would be a major black eye to the multi-tenancy of Zabbix if something like this could not be done.
