    Hi F10,
unfortunately Proxy can't serve as a Remote Commands relay. Also, proxy can't send alerts because proxy is only for metrics gathering.

    Regards,
    Alex!

      From 3.4 whats new :

"Now it is possible to execute remote commands and global scripts on hosts monitored by proxies. The command is executed by the agent on the target host. Or you can execute a remote command by the proxy itself."

You can't do alerting through the proxy and it has to stay connected.

        Thanks for the answers!

This is great. Will it also only work with a connection to the server? Or can the proxy act independent once it is configured?

Will this feature be provided in the future?

I'm not sure but I doubt it. There was a way to tier servers many years ago and also have proxies but that feature was removed so I doubt it'll be back.
