zabbix monitor database logs

hi , i'm new to zabbix and monitoring systems , i just installed zabbix on centos 7 , is it possible to monitor my database logs ?
to be more specific , i'm working at E-payment company . is it possible that zabbix can check the backend logs and notify me with the errors which i'll give as variable ?

using zabbix 3.0.10
centos 7

Hi,

You can monitor any log file like this: log[/path/mylogfile.log,(error|ERROR)]. I never used errors like variable though.

hi , appreciate ur support alot .... however can u explain more as i never used zabbix or any monitring system before ? ... like where do i add this ? zabbix agent or zabbix server ?
