    Email Failures - stuck ?





    how to fix email failure?
    most probably at this time there was a problem with the mail server, the server was running and the error remained

    Does the Zabbix Admin user owns a valid e-mail address?

      The Administrator's email has not been changed for 3 years, previous notifications worked correctly, all of them are working after this problem. Only this one continuously displays the failure.

            What do you mean by stuck ? Zabbix will retry to send mail n times, that is specified in media types -> email -> options tab.

            If you have default 3 retries in 10 seconds, Zabbix will stop all future attempts to send mail after 30 seconds and 3 attempts.

              what should I do to let this notification disappear from the dashboard?

              The problem no longer occurs and the notification hangs from 2017-12-16 on the dashboard.

                Try closing the trigger manually once.

                To do that, you have to enable "Manual close" under that trigger, so go to the template and open the trigger, in there you have option to enable manual close and then you can close it manually from Dashboard -> Problems

                  I closed manually already 2017-12-21, it did not help. On the Dashboard - Problems - this problem does not occur, I can not see it from 2017-12-21.
