zabbix intsallation without root or sudo

Hello,
I'm trying to install zabbix without being root or sudo due to client and security issues.
I read this forum, which someone gave a solution to not using root, but I still can't get over the configuring part.

I also saw posts saying that it's not possible to install without any root unless compiling, but compiling will still require root privileges for library and environment settings.

So is there any way to install without any root access, and no compilation??

Hello,

You can try to compile the Zabbix on another machine and then move the executable, but you still need to create a user and folders..

Strange security policy as Zabbix will be running from the Zabbix user, not root!

But the user might need to be given permission on some areas.

Never try tho. Always sudo or root for me. To be safe
