Is there any way to schedule an outage or some way to tell zabbix that during a specific time window specific servers or services will be unavailable (upgrades, etc)?

I have the same need
This looks like an old thread, but I have the same need. Anyway to do this maybe at the trigger level? Set a time period that can be blacked out so that the trigger doesnt hit? I have daily jobs on some servers that require the service to be shut down for a short time to complete. Of course Zabbix picks this up as a problem in triggers and I get alerts I don't need/want.
Currently using Zabbix 1.4.4 -
Time condition in actions
Nevermind - I think I found what I need. I think that setting the "time period" condition" using the "not in" evaluation for the blackout time on an action will work for me. At least I hope it does
