Hi Guys,
I have installed the precompiled version of the zabbix agent on a windows 2003 server. I have setup countless hosts for freebsd machines without a problem. I have the zabbix agent configured correctly, using the default listening port and also assigning the server IP to accept connections from. Zabbix is installed as a service runs fine and no errors are stated in the logs. Everything seems to startup successfully.
I have no firewall running on the windows machine. For some reason I am unable to establish a connection 'connection refused' is being reported in zabbix server as well as zabbix server logs. I am unable to telnet to port 10050 from my zabbix server to the windows server with the agent running. No firewalls are between hosts.
Does anyone have any suggestions or has anyone seen this before. No windows firewall, no IPSEC, no server firewalls.. and I have this setup on 15 freebsd servers without a problem.
Please advise. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
regards,
John
