    More pre-compiled binaries

I would be very interested to add new platforms to the list of pre-compiled agent binaries. Please let me know if you could provide ZABBIX staff with a remote (SSH) access to one of the following platforms:

    - HP-UX 10.xx
    - Solaris 2.5.1
    - Solaris 2.6
    - anything else not listed on www.zabbix.com/download.php

    Thank you.

Thank you, CentOS is not needed.

Actually we are mostly interested in non-Intel platforms (Sparc, PA-RISC, PowerPC, etc).

Zabbix, like nagios can monitor just about anything. If you have a way of getting a value in a script there is a way to get the data into Zabbix. This topic is OT (off topic) for this thread, if you wish to continue I suggest you start a new thread and continue there. The protocol is somewhat documented in the Wiki, the database structure is also somewhat documented in the 1.1 series docs. As for the rest your best bet is to start asking. If you have further questions please start a new thread and continue there.

          PowerPC Linux

          Hello,

I can supply with SSH access to PowerPC Cell Linux (PS3 in fact).
          Is any interest in that?

          BR,
          Emerson

I can provide Sparc binaries for Solaris 10, and maybe 2.9 also.

              Irix

Not sure if there's much interest, but I have what seems to be a working version of zabbix_agentd for SGI IRIX 6.5. I would like to share it for those who don't have development options on IRIX, but not sure where I should upload it.

              What's the best place?

Seems this has never eventuated? At least the S10 x86 client is not on the d/l list.

                          I've compiled it myself for S10U8 x86 32bit based on zabbix 1.8.2

I can put together a Solaris package to install it using pkgadd. Anyone interested? Where should I upload the binaries?

                          Rgds,

Solaris 10 package with source files and install instructions.

                            Hi All!
I've made a little post of how to create your own Solaris 10 package (works well for SPARC and amd64). Example package provided for SPARC. You can also use these instruction for automating mass installation of zabbix agents on Solaris clients.

New to the forum, so forgive me if this is old - is there a pre-compiled zabbix-agentd and zabbix-sender for mac os x ?
