IBM SAN Switch / DS4700 Storage

Does anyone have an example on how to monitor an IBM SAN Switch and/or an IBM DS4700 Storage System? I've found an SNMP documentation about the Brocade SAN switch, but there are lots of OID'ś and I don't know where to get an useful thing information there.

Hi, I´m monitoring an IBM FC Switch Brocade 8 ports with these OIDs:

1. To get the total number of FC ports in the brocade switch

snmpwalk -v 1 -c public 1.0.0.117 .1.3.6.1.4.1.1588.2.1.1.1.6.1.0
Response: SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.1588.2.1.1.1.6.1.0 = INTEGER: 8

2. To verify that the FC port is active (5)

# O unknown (only for operationnal)
# 1 online
# 2 offline
# 3 testing
# 4 faulty
snmpwalk -v 1 -c public 1.0.0.117 .1.3.6.1.4.1.1588.2.1.1.1.6.2.1.5.$Port

3. To verify Physical state of the FC port (9)

With this information you can create the template for your switch and create also some triggers.

I´m looking to monitor also the speed of every port, when I find it I will post it.
