    Zabbix installation in FC3

    Hi,
I am having FC3 in a client and i need to install zabbix-agent in it.
I am not supposed to compile packages on that machine.

And I dont know how to use the precompiled packages???

Or else is there any rpm file for zabbix-agent for FC3??

PS:Have installed zabbix-server in a Ubuntu server and its running.

I tried by installing FC6 rpms, phew!!
      Too many dependencies!!

Can anyone tell me is there a way to install zabbix without compiling for FC3??

        Thanks for your reply guys,

I compiled the package on the machine
by convincing my superiors that there is no other way to install in FC3
and telling them that Zabbix is ineed a great application.

You also could have gotten access to another fc3 machine and compiled it there. i'm not sure what libs fc3 uses.

I would probably dump an fc3 machine. isn't that thing like 5 years old?

I compiled nearly all of our clients by myself.
              On RedHat9, FC1/2/3/4/5/6 and CentOS5.0.
On some REALLY old Machines running RH9 and not having some needed applications (e.g. compiler) i just copied the compiled zabbix binaries from a similar system, even that worked for me!
              Big ZABBIX is watching you!
(... and my 48 hosts, 4513 items, 1280 triggers via zabbix v1.6 on CentOS 5.0)
