    Commercial and Free ZAPPIX-version

    Dear ladies and gentlemen,

can you explain me the difference between the free and the commercial ZAPPIX?
    What are the costs?
    We use 17 sites a 10-20 clients.

What makes the difference in regard to the support.

    With kind regards,

    Matthias

First and foremost it's ZABBIX not ZAPPIX.
Second - there's no commersial version as far as I understand all code is under GPL and no dual-licensing is used.
Third - support is like support everywhere else. check this page out: http://www.zabbix.com/support.php

      ZABBIX Support

      Hi Teferi,
thank you very much for response.

      In regard to the support:
Do you know something about support-costs, maintenance or training and so on?

We have to train 19x6 colleagues

      remark:
Hopefully you are right, that ZABBIX ist not commercial only OpenSource under GNU GPL.

There are no mentioned prices on either support or training courses. Both places refer to the sales department, so maybe you should try asking them?

Also, are you sure you need to get all people on the training course? That may sound a bit much to me...

BTW, Zabbix is entirely open-source and GPL licensed.

          Training course

          Hi Tenzer,

          no you´re right.
I don´t need to train all colleagues at once.
I prefer to train the personal in groups á 5 guys.

The license costs and training-fees I received from ZABBIX mailing-list.

          Thank you for your hints,

          Regards Matthias
