I don't think it works with that high a version of FireFox.
          I am on FF V3.0.12

I used the version numbered 1.2.2ff5.xpi.zip which is supposed to be tailored for ff3.5

I have no problem with it and I am running.

              FireFox Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729).

              I use the 1.2.2ff5.xpi.zip Zabbix 1.6.4

              It work great for me.

              I am running Windows XPSP3.

Ok, so at least I know it works. For myself, the only difference with you is that I'm using the Linux version of Firefox.

I'll check the logs on the server and try to find the issue if I can.

So, do you have the Zabbix "Z" in the bottom right hand of your browser window? Did you right click that Z and click "preferences" to configure your URL, user and password?

After that, I had to restart Firefox and it connected flawlessly.

Yup, did all of that. But now I just noted that the preference windows is now also all blank.

Update: The reason is that initialy I had 1.2.2 in ff3.0 which I could see the preferences and set them, but the panes were blanks. To try to solve this, I installed ff3.5 with the appropriate plugin and now all is blank.

That happened to me as well. An alternative to get to the preferences is this way -

In Firefox browser, click Tools --> Add-ons. Go to the “Extensions” tab. you will see the Zabbix plugin listed. if it is not highlighted, click on it.

From there - click on the “Options” box and that will give you the Zabbix config screen. After you make changes, restart your browser. You may have to close out all browser windows.

Thanks, it does show up that way.

The url has this form: http:/linux-m/zabbix/

It does print "loading url" but then it simply disapear.

                        That's proper?

Well, not quite. You are missing a slash after http:/
You would also need to be able to resolve that DNS name. Instead of that, I use IP:

The missing slash is a typo I made in the post. I tried with the IP and now the "Loading zabbix url..." is there permanently. About 2-3 minutes now. I'm only guessing this is too long

if you can see apache log /var/log/apache2/access.log or /var/log/httpd/access.log

I am getting "Warning. Field [state] is mandatory" on all pages except "Web status".

                                Firefox 3.0.13 on Ubuntu - Zabbix 1.6.5 - Plugin 1.2.2

I do have the red Z in the bottom right with a 0 next to it (there are no issues currently).
