- visual notification on new alert

this plugin doesn't work with zabbix 1.4 yet, another .xpi will be created to 1.4

todo:
- only show issues in time period (one hour, 12 hour, 1 day..)
- support at least 3 zabbix server
- study if is possible show only alerts from a group

please comment more ideas, necessities, bugs, critics are appreciable
should create a version for explorer?

1. it is possible to add tab for: System status from dashboard ?
2. if i have same issues i see number beside icon, but when i repair issue the number beside icon dont rehresh and see number still.

1. Yes, problem is "mouseover" doesn't work well with plugins, but i will try do it
2. if you wait for next update, or doing click "refresh now" number doesn't refresh?

2. no , after next update or click "refresh now" number dont refresh, i see still "Z 1" - one issue.
After restart firefox i see only "Z" - without number

• thunderbird support
• new "System status" tab
• refresh button fixed
• notification fixed
• fixed minor problems with HTML parser
• actions are showed better

- when a new window is open use main window status (if zabbixbar is minimized, new window would show zabbixbar minimized)
- remember last minimized status
- multi zabbix support
- show only today issues (or another time period)

Only one majer issue: every new window open the add-on, no matter what the state of my "main window" which is very anoying in zabbix itself (lots of windows pop up..)

In my opinion this should be the intended behavior of a monitoring tool (to try to catch user attention in case of events).

I used to work with Nagios and Nagios Checker and I remember I liked its fitting into the status bar, with lottsa info directly near the icon. Anyway also the tiny "Z" icon with issues counter and notification of new events is quite ok.

thunderbird:
i try plugin in thunderbird - work ok.
when i have new issue i see text in red box:
New allert on host: my_host
and i see "Z 1" in status bar.
when i repair issue and wait for refresh i see "Z 0" in status bar

firefox:
i still have problem in firefox
when i have issue i see only "Z 1"
without red box "New alert on host:". the red box dont show.

after repair issue an wait refresh time:
tab issues and system status is ok
but on status bar i see "Z 1" instead "Z" or "Z 0"

Its sound very intersting ...

You know 'BBTray' (www.deadcat.net) its a 'sys tray app' that show a popup window if 'BigBrother' (Hobbit Monitor) have some trigger actived. I guess its a good idea to ZABBIX. Administrators can keep working and get a popup window and (so) access zabbix interface.
