Contributing to Zabbix?

Hello!

I was just wondering, is there an official process for making contributions? I found a link on the Zabbix GitHub page (https://github.com/zabbix/zabbix) a link to https://git.zabbix.com/scm/zbx/zabbix.git as the official repository, as the GitHub repository for Zabbix is a publish-only mirror. I found a page on https://www.zabbix.com/developers but it seems to mention SVN instead of Git.

You will need to be a Zabbix developer to contribute directly.

As development is carried out in consideration of the development policy of Zabbix overall and future improvement, I have heard that it is only employee developers as to the final source commitment.

I was hoping the whole dev workflow use github/gitlab but migrating to git with jira look is a good start.
