To answer my own question: yes, this works. Mind you: you only need to activate TLS for the mini-HTTP, the AMI interface is connected to via 127.0.0.1

I am having an issue, where the update interval for Asterisk: Service Status is happening only every 10 minutes, even though the Update interval is set to 1 minute.

All other items are updating at 1 minute intervals.

I am using template "Asterisk by HTTP" and working well.

it seem item of service status and service response time are checking just response without authentication.
so asterisk will output authentication error every check as below .

Hi all! I'm new to Zabbix and I need your help. Working on the integration Zabbix+FreePBX. Using this template https://www.zabbix.com/ru/integrations/asterisk.
My goal is to have "OK" status only if the trunk is "REGISTERED", otherwise it must have "UNREACHABLE".

Currently, the trunk with the state "No Authentication" for example has status "OK", while it must be "UNREACHABLE". Could you please help to fix this.

After update to Zabbix 6.2, asterisk service is always down on FreepPBX. Not sure what changed. I also updated FreePBX but every other template check is working.



Anyone else having this issue?

Just wanted to add this here to my previous post. Zabbix configuration shows "Invalid third parameter"

Finally figured it out. Was missing AMI.PORT macro. This template used to work without this or maybe it was configured somehow else.

Anyway, I made sure all of the Macros used by this template were configured on the host and it's resolved.

I updated Asterisk to version 16.16. and installed FreePBIX.
Zabbix stopped receiving data: (pictured)

Hi team,
Trying to ask for help. Last Zabbix 6.2, official Zabbix Asterisk template, Asterisk 13.16 (yes I know that it is a bit old, but there are some reasons for this).
Enabled manager and http, created user, added necessary macroses. But in asterisk CLI I can see permanent messages:

HTTP Manager 'zabbix' logged on from ZABBIX_SERVER_IP
HTTP Manager 'zabbix' logged off from ZABBIX_SERVER_IP
Connect attempt from 'ZABBIX_SERVER_IP' unable to authenticate
Connect attempt from 'ZABBIX_SERVER_IP' unable to authenticate

Zabbix caught some data from Asterisk because info in Latest data is updating from time to time.

How to fix this problem? Looks like asterisk blocking user sometimes or there are different connections from zabbix to asterisk except of 8088 exist?
