I tried to install Zabbix on the brand new Ubuntu 16.04 but it won't work...
The latest Zabbix package available for Ubuntu is for the Ubuntu Trusty 14.04 LTS version, only.
Is their any plans to create a Zabbix package for Ubuntu Xenial 16.04 LTS, soon?

[Regression Potential] * The code change is identical to the upstream change; given that the frontend won't load with the code as-is, I believe there is no regression potential there. * The depen...
Debian SID has 3.0.3 so that makes sense.Comment

Looks like the zabbix repository now includes a zabbix 3.0.4 for xenial distribution. Also looks like it may depend on php5.
Do I understand correctly that August 2016 is the planned date from another round of releases from Zabbix? Would like to hear the official news on all this.Comment
