Timescaledb Conversion Timefram

Running zabbix 6.4.20 , postgresl 14.15

we are looking to install timescaledb but our databases are bigger than normal (over 2tb)

can we run the timescaledb script with zabbix server running? Its will take several days for conversion and really dont want to loose the history of those days if we have to shut zabbix off.

so after several tests given enough resources a 2 tb takes ~ 40 hours.
