Static host group being mandatory for host prototype discovery

When using host prototype discovery if you want to use a Group Prototype, a static host group is still required. Because of this every discovered host is now in 2 groups minimum, which just wastes space in the interface and since the static group will be filled with all types of hosts, it is unusable as well.

I think it will be a great change to remove static groups from being mandatory when a group prototype is used.

I can imagine the concern is discovered hosts being deleted if the host prototype changes but there are better ways to deal with that.

Concern is not the host getting deleted but host left without a group.. Having a static group also at lest preserves your host and you can deal with the situation, withou t losing data... If discovered hostgroup just changes, that host is just reassigned to another group... I think.
But then again, I can agree, it is not most elegant solution...
