Hi,
I'm brand new user of Zabbix, thats is imo a great supervision software.
I got 86 hosts and 2800 items to check (on Zabbix 1.4.5) , and i have a constraint, a part of the network (and one router) must be shutdown during night ( from 17:30 to 10:00) and i dont really know how to stop the monitoring, to avoid "disaster" triggers to fire...
So, i read (deeply !) the manual and i tried the "flexible interval" and that not seems to be efficient...
I put a 3600 s interval between 3:00 and 4:00 and i had a value at 3:00 then at 3:58 then at 4:45 ! (all value AM)
Weird!
And i tried with other item on other hosts and flexible interval never worked.
So, is there a way to stop monitoring an item?
My actions are made about severity (one disaster, warning etc.)
Dyonisos.
PS: sry for some weird sentences, i'm french and it's sometimes hard to formulate ideas in english way of speaking
