    False SSH alerts

Im getting false SSH server down/up alerts.

Sometimes its ok and all servers and suddently its down on one and up on another. This is a false check of course since SSH is always up on all servers. It seems to randomly appear and dissappear.

Do not use default templates. You may want to make your triggers less sensitive using trigger functions min/max, instead of last().

Thanks will try that since im getting this now also on password change.

Can I change this per server trigger instead of the whole template which changes all?

      Thanks

Alexei, if the default templates are broken enough that you recommend against using them, why not put some effort into fixing them? I'm sure that if you offered a few guidelines, there would be lots of folks here who would provide more useful templates for distribution....

I must agree. The defaults are pretty bad.

They are not broken. I tend to agree with you that the default templates should be improved. Yes, more documentation may help as well.

Why do you mean they are pretty bad? Actually they work quite well for me. The only thing i had false alerts with it is the SSH and password changes.

Why dont we all start by saying what can be done on the default templates instead of just saying they need to be improved.
