    Problems installing Zabbix on Fedora 10

    got a problem with getting the web interface open in fedora 10

    i have yum installed zabbix, zabbix-server-mysql, zabbix-web-mysql and created the database, I have configure zabbix-server to use the local database.

    but when i go to the zabbix web interface I get

    Undefined index: TYPE[/etc/zabbix/db.inc.php:606]
    Undefined index: TYPE[/etc/zabbix/db.inc.php:606]

    then in a box i get "ZABBIX is temporary unavailable!" then a retry box.

    please help!

    I ran into this as well. The short answer is, the web UI isn't properly redirecting to the installer.

    To fix this, you just need to manually create /etc/zabbix/zabbix.conf.php

    Here's mine:

    PHP Code:
    <?php
    /*

    **/

    global $DB;

    $DB["TYPE"]             = "MYSQL";
    $DB["SERVER"]           = "localhost";
    $DB["PORT"]             = "0";
    $DB["DATABASE"]         = "zabbix";

        Could you be more specific? What images and graphs are you expecting to find?

        Did you forget import the schema and data from /usr/share/doc/zabbix-server-%{version}/schema and /usr/share/doc/zabbix-server-%{version}/data ?

            I have encountered the same problem - there is no graphs. Have you solved it?

              I have solved this problem. Just download sources and copy files from "frontends/php" to "/usr/share/zabbix" ( I have deleted all files from /usr/share/zabbix before copying )

                Maybe you should inform the package maintainer so that he can fix it.
