Housekeeper and db

My history_log.ibd is 8GB. I checked in my zabbix_server.log grepping for housekeeper and it shows no results. Log verbosity is set to 4. Zabbix (agent|server) version is 1.6.1

What can I do to:
- Shrink that table
- Manually run housekeeper
- Understand why housekeeper is not running anymore.

I think that is because housekeeper is not running.

With logging at level 4, zabbix server will cycle log files very quickly. As a result, housekeeper is probably running (as long as you didn't disabled it in zabbix_server.conf), but the log entries about the housekeeper running get cycled out of the log file almost immediately. Try running your server at log level 3 for a while and see if the housekeeper log entries show up as expected.
