Access the same log file with several zabbix_agentd

Hi,
We have a cluster configuration (solaris/VCS - 5 nodes) with several zabbix_agentd on the same node each one with logical IP/hostname . My problem is that i can access the /var/adm/messages ( log active check) only with one zabbix_agentd.

It is possible to access one log file with several zabbix_agentd on the same host ?

you are probably referring to the logfile check.
i don't see why wouldn't that be possible, so i can only suggest to check file permissions for zabbix agents that fail to access it.

But ... what ZABBIX log file says about this ? Have you some error in ZABBIX log files ?
Is needed say that zabbix agent didnt tak exclusive acces in log files.

i think is a problem with lock/truncate files
unset LogFile and use "syslog" to avoid problem with multiple access to single file

Hi,
I talk about logfile (/var/adm/messages) solarisOS, access several time with item log[file,String] from several zabbix_agentd (zabbix agent active)on the same host.

i just update from 1.6.4 to 1.6.5 agent+server and it seem to be Ok now
