Follow the guide for CentOS, they are very similar.

Fedora's mirrors were having some issues recently. I'm not sure if its been resolved as of yet, but I thought it had been.

Although I just looked a bit closer, and I don't see a zabbix rpm in epel-testing, just in epel, so I wouldn't bother trying to troubleshoot epel-testing. Just make epel work.

One thing to keep in mind is that EPEL only supported 1.4.6 of Zabbix. The Fedora10+ Zabbix 1.6 source RPM rebuilds fine on RHEL5 as long as you do have certain EPEL provided packages installed.

          Hi everyone.
          I need help.
I need to install the agent ( zabbix-agent-5.0.25-1.el5.x86_64.rpm) in one machine with RHEL 5. When i run the comand "/sbin/service zabbix-agent status" the return is: "zabbix_agentd is stopped" when i start with comand "/sbin/service zabbix-agent start" the return is "Starting Zabbix agent [OK]" .So when i check with status the service still stopped. In this moment i can´t change the RHEL.

Look in the log file for the agent (probably /var/log/zabbix/zabbix_agentd.log) to see if there are any messages there about why it isn't starting.
