    Zabbix GUI - pre-1.8-9055

    There's running zabbix server and agents version pre-1.8-9021, GUI pre-1.8-8858, with the version GUI with pre-1.8-9021 or the newest there are shown strange things on the map. Example is shown on attached screens of the same server, where one of the screen is OK and where is shown strange things.

    noc-db - 2 problems / 29 Unknow -> GUI pre-1.8-9055
    noc-db - 2 problems -> GUI pre-1.8-8858

    that means 29 triggers for the host are in an unknown state - figure out why, fix the cause (or disable them )

      And because of the above the device goes to "Unknown" state on the map.

        what do you mean ? status should not change, unless _all_ triggers are in an unknown state. in which case it really is quite... unknown

          I use different icons for different status, and because of the problem, the icon changes to unknown.

          The device itself is working, it only has some items, which are not available.

          See attached image!

            ah, but that's not element status, but trigger hilighting.

                i believe it's in line with hilighting when triggers fire. so your options are to solve the issue, or disable hilighting for the map.

                  OK, I will try.

                  If the problem is in my config, then why does the map shows well with released version 1.8?

                        what exactly is the problem at this point ?
                        you see unknown triggers in the map, but not in the trigger list ? where did you look for them ? i'd suggest monitoring -> triggers, selecting the host and choosing "show all"

                          Ohhhh ,

                          Is there anyway to disable this new feature? Maybe comment something out... The way I use templates, there are always some triggers in UNKNOWN state....

                            as noted, you can disable icon hilighting on the map level. you will still see unknown trigger count, but that should be much less distracting

                              I'm more worried about Unknown trigger count than icon highlighting, actually...
