I am having the same issue, using 1.8.2. Set the Maintenance period, changed my actions to not during maintenance. But I am still getting flooded.

Does anyone know if 1.8.3 solves this problem?

Hey kdx200rider, just try to put the following condition in your action's conditions :

      trigger value = problem

It's very important if you use escalation or recovery messages.

I just found i still have this problem in 1.8.6.
I applied the workaround for the notifications, but i still see errors appearing on the dashboard while in maintenance
