    Re-alerts not working

    I am trying to set up re-alerts, i.e. if a trigger is not ack-ed within 10 mins another email is sent, so far I have an action with escalations and two actions:

    1 Send message to Group "Zabbix administrators" Default Immediately
    1 Send message to Group "Zabbix administrators" 150 Immediately

    this should send another email 2.5 mins after a trigger, but it does not. does anybody know why this doesn't work?

    Hi,
    Create an another action in the action operations by giving the time frame

    Thanks,
    Subbu

      first, you didn't specify how exactly does it not work;

      second, both operations use step 1, so both only would do anything immediately when the problem happens;

      third, overriding the period for a single step won't do anything.

          well, detailing what doesn't work would be helpful.

          just a wild guess - set action period to 600 seconds, modify the second operation to be at step 10 and remove interval for it. also make sure your action has condition "trigger value = problem".

          if that still doesn't work, tell what doesn't work, and possibly also add a screenshot of the action config.
