    1.8 Documentation Formatting problem

    Problem 1 - major

Has anyone noticed a formatting problem with the Zabbix 1.8 Documentation?

Sometime last year, the page went from displaying properly to squashing everything far over to the right (and farther right) as you scroll down the page which makes the complete page documentation difficult to read.

(It seems the page is continually indented to the right as you scroll down the sections)

This now happens to me in both the Chrome and Firefox browsers.

    The individual sections display properly.

    Problem 2 - minor

The numbering of the sections appears off. For example, if you look at section 4 you will see the numbering is a bit off. It goes:
    Code:
    1
    4.2
    4.3
    ...
    4.22
    6
    11
    12
    19
While it's only a minor quibble, it's annoying. I'd happily fix that myself if I had access.

That's known damn problem. Maybe once somehow it will be fixed, but at the moment no good solution.

Ah, thank you. I wasn't aware of that wiki page. I'll look there first next time before deciding to report the obvious

No problem, and I would like to let you know that *at the moment* for some part of the pages the numbering has been changed to manual.
        See example: http://www.zabbix.com/documentation/1.8/manual/config
Drawback - no chapters numbering inheritance anymore.

This process will be finished tomorrow.

this probably is some sort of dokuwiki / it's plugin combination, so not something that could be easily fixed, unfortunately. maybe this will somehow change to better with some future upgrades...
