smtp onanother host or ip

hi iam using 1.1beta8 but there is not in configuration media, where email will be sent, but i don't have mailserver on the same machine on localhost but on another, its possible to use another smtp? thank for help

yes it is possible.
in SMTP server put your ip adress of server or fqdn of machine. (mail.example.com)
in HELO smtp put domain of server.

I use the lightweight nbsmtp client that is easy to setup and can even run inside a chroot jail without any problems. You can find info in the following thread (it talks about authenticated smtp but will work just as well for other smtp servers)
