zabbix 2.0.3 - revovery mails keep coming

    hi

a problem occurs - mail is sent with the problem.
problem changes to ok - mail is sent that "all is ok" !

after one hour i get the same "all is ok" message ! and again and again after each hour ...

i check the escalations table and i see the entry which causes the resending - i empty the table and it stops sending the "all is ok" message.

should this not be done by zabbix server ?

    ciao

    2.0.4 has the same issue

The same problem exists in 2.04.

Recovery messages are sent repeatedly even if the configuration of recovery messages is changed to be off.

They appear to be sent at the interval defined for "Default operation step duration".

      Bump

Zabbix is sending hundreds of duplicate recovery messages. Is there a fix for this?

You can file a bug report here, if one doesn't already exist:

I have the same problem on 2.0.5

Any solution in sight ? or a temporary workaround ?

Try 2.0.6 and recheck your actions configuration.

you have to add another condition to your action, something like:

              Trigger value = PROBLEM

This will only sent the "ok-messages" if there really was a PROBLEM before.
This was written in the 1.8 documentation but is missing in 2.x
