Front end shows "Zabbix server not running"

After i copied my gui files on my server and i try to get to them with my browser i get a error 500.

When i turn of selinux with "echo 0 >/selinux/enforce" all works fine.

After the initial setup i set it back on with "echo 1 >/selinux/enforce" and error 500 re-appears.

The commands suggested by Alan do not solve this isseu. What can i do.

do a tail /var/log/messages

selinux will tell you what command to run


or sealert -a /var/log/audit/audit.log


but imho you just forgot to run : setsebool httpd_can_network_connect=1


also i see you write copied my files to the server ... does that mean not from package ?

if so you probably have to add labels to all files in your http directory

restorecon or chcon --reference src target could help

how many trapper have you configured in your zabbix_server.conf? you need at least 1 , then the frontend won't complain.
