Can we connect zabbix agents with the server using http proxy.

Hi,

We are going to install zabbix server and agents in 2 different networks. Our agents are on a Intrantet server where access and URL's are blocked but our master server will be on an internet server. I want to find out if these can be connected via http proxy?
We would need to byepass the firewall in order to connect these..
Please give some recommendation.

The server and the agent do not exchange data over the http protocol, therefore an http proxy will not work.
Look towards installing zabbix_proxy on the intranet and connecting ZP to ZS using encryption.
Of course, you will have to open some ports on the firewall.
