How to trigger the alert if server is shutdown.

    Hi All,
I need to trigger an alert if server going to shut down. if there any way to without using network dependancy items(such as icmp ping, nodata, etc). All the alerts what I was found are created for server down depending on the network.
Can you please let me know anyone has the answer.

    Thank you.
    Best Regards,
    Tharaka

If you mean Zabbix server I think the simplest would be to have another small Zabbix installation that would only monitor the availability of Zabbix server.
Otherwise I think you could create a systemd service that would be run before network is shutting down and would send an alert. But of course that would not help in case of crash or hitting power off button.

      Hi Dimir,
Thank you for your reply. I am trying to get the alert not for the Zabbix server reboot but for the Windows servers that need to have monitor using the Zabbix agent.
      Thank you.
