I don't even try to monitor everything in ILO/Proliant, as there's SO much there.

What I've found useful is to monitor just three indicators:

    cpqDaMibCondition 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.3.1.3.0 Array health
cpqHeMibCondition 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.6.1.3.0 overall health (will flag also if anything in ILM)
    cpqSiMibCondition 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.2.1.3.0 system health

From my experience once you know there's an issue you will end up going to the management home page anyway to see what it thinks, so why try to monitor the details it does so well on its own. If one of these flag, you go look. Simple, easy, and no need to update as new agent releases come out, or new hardware installed.

    Yes, it's a cheat.

By monitoring the iLO we can get temperature, and all other hardware status immediately.
I am monitoring dell idrac via snmp in zabbix and it's absolutely amazing.
Is there any template for iLO 4 ??

If you haven't heard there's this thing https://share.zabbix.com where Zabbix users exchange different things like Templates, plug-ins etc. Here's what I've found by keywords like "ILO" and "HP":

The Zabbix Team has collected all official Zabbix monitoring templates and integrations.

but you can try your own search.

First import "Template ICMP Ping" and then try again.

I renamed the template module ICMP ping to TEMPLATE ICMP PING and then tried to import HP iLO template and got a new error:
      • Trigger prototype "RAID Controller [{#SNMPVALUE}] need check (Other)" depends on trigger "{HOST.NAME} is unavailable by ICMP", which does not exist. The error message clearly tells you that you are missing trigger "{HOST.NAME} is unavailable by ICMP" which should be coming from ICMP template. Please use Comments under this Template on share.zabbix.com or try another one. I'm not the author of this Template so I have no idea of how to use it properly.

Can you help me to create this trigger so that I can do with HP iLO monitoring.

No one has replied from author side for that template on https://share.zabbix.com/cat-server-...imple-template

I gave you the link to instructions on how to create a trigger? What is unclear there?
