Error 1053 Windows Server

Hi everybody,

I have a problem, when I install teh zabbix appliance and go to star the service, it doesnt it and show me that error

zabbix_agentd.exe [13756]: ERROR: cannot start service [Zabbix Agent]: [0x0000041D] El servicio no respondi├│ a tiempo a la solicitud de inicio o de control.


Can you help me?

I don't think there is a "zabbix_agentd.exe" in Zabbix appliance. You probably meant Zabbix agent.
On what operating system are you running the agent?
What's the agent version?
Can you run the zabbix_agentd.exe from command promt?

Hi,
From my experience, the most likely culprit in this situation would be an incorrect path to the config file which you defined during the agent installation.
Without setting the --config parameter during the setup, the agent will use the default config file path"c:\zabbix_agentd.conf"
If you want to set it to something else, use the zabbix_agentd.exe --config <your_configuration_file> --install command.
