Mattermost notification failed: [404] Sorry, we could not find the page.

    Hello,

I am struggling with this documentation.
I installed zabbix from your documentation, everything is running smoothly with the installed and already loving it. It is so easy to interact and setup is straight forward.

I used this documentation (https://git.zabbix.com/projects/ZBX/...dia/mattermost) to integrate Zabbix with Mattermost for event notification. I've done every single step correctly (i deleted everything 3 times and did from scratch)
When I test, I get the following error:
    • Mattermost notification failed: [404] Sorry, we could not find the page.
I would appreciate if you could help me debug this.

    Thank you

    Hi,

I'm also stuck at this point. Don't know where the problem is. I hope, someone can give a hint where to take a deeper look....

My mattermost-server ist on the same host like zabbix.

I followed everythin from the doku, and maybe the URL is wrong? See attached screenshots an hopefully someone see my mistake....

          Hi,

In the documentation there is one step they forgot to remark. You have to ensure that the group where you put your new user have read permissions, at least.

And if you want to make a "Test media type" you have to modify the "send_to" cell value with your channel name, username (within Mattermost) or channel ID. If you do that the test will be succesfull.

Hope this was helpful for you!

Thank you very much cristobal, your advice with filling out the "send_to" cell made my test working.
Sadly the automatic "send message on problem" feature is still not working and right now, I am missing information on how to debug it.

artodeto I've been struggling with myself today...

To actually have something happen you need to enable the following trigger: Configuration -> Actions -> Trigger actions -> "Report problems to Zabbix administrators".

This trigger is disabled by default, and not mentioned in any of the guides I have seen on Zabbix/Mattermost integration.

artodeto I was also struggling for a long time on this. Finally, I figured it out.
            You also have to change Macro from {ZABBIX.URL} to {ZABBIX_URL}

          Hello,
I was facing the same issue.
I've managed to solve, since my zabbix has two interfaces one for internet and another for internal network. my zabbix server is bound to internal interface and it has no internet access.
