Hosts are showing zabbix server data not agent data

I was using version 4 of zabbix on ubuntu 16.04 server and it was working great with my agents. I had a power outage and it corrupted my database. I could not get it fixed so I started over with ubuntu 18.04 server and zabbix 4.4. Install went well, agent is installed on a Windows server just like before. I setup the host with the correct name and linked a template. The problem is that I see data for that host but it is the zabbix server data and not the agent data from that server. Not sure what I am missing.
Probably something simple.

I could be wrong, but it sounds like you are using the Zabbix server IP address instead of the host address...could be wrong.

On the server or the agent? The agent is using the server address. I am not having the server pull data from the agents, just the agent push to the server.

So I was able to figure this out. It was an error on my part with configuring the agent.

What was the configuration error? I am having this issue with Zabbix agent 5.4 on pfSense systems. All of the inventory data is coming from the server instead of from the agent.

In my case, setting listen IP to a specific IP address reachable by the Zabbix server (instead of the default 0.0.0.0) cleared things up. Hope this helps!
