    Zabbix SNMP Macro not working

    Hey guys,

    i got an issue with my Zabbix after upgrading it to Version 5.0.1.
    my Macro {$SNMP_COMMUNITY} doesn't get replaced with the value in my Macro and SNMP sends "{$SNMP_COMMUNITY}" instead.

    Output of tcpdump on Zabbix-Server:
    zabbix.zynaptiq.internal.55283 > 10.79.1.10.snmp: [bad udp cksum 0x1747 -> 0xcac1!] { SNMPv2c C="{$SNMP_COMMUNITY}" { GetRequest(28) R=1620971974 system.sysName.0 } }

    You can find in the Attachments following Informations:

    Did you hit this one? https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBX-17877

    If not, is this global or host/template macro?

    Another thing to consider is upgrading to the latest version which is 5.0.3 .

      I have the same issue. Our Global SNMP Community Macro no longer seems to work at all. I can get host to start polling SNMP by typing out the community string instead of the macro, then waiting a few minutes. Until then, SNMP status is Red.

      I did review the release notes, and there were some macro related issues fixed, but maybe this particular bug has gotten past the recent updates.
