Simple Check : icmppingloss is always 0 ...

    Hi

I have created a simple template for monitoring access to an host:

Name:	Clipboard01.jpg
Views:	444
Size:	46.1 KB
ID:	413477

Max/min are working fine, but loss does not, it always returning 0...

So if connection is not possible (unreachable host), i got 0 for max and min, but also for loss !

    System:
    FreeBSD 12.1, fping 5.0, Zabbix Proxy 5.0

    Process:
    zabbix_proxy: icmp pinger #1 [got 0 values in 0.000208 sec, idle 5 sec] (zabbix_proxy)

I don't understand why i'm not getting the correct value... it used to work, I think it's probably related of a recent update (Zabbix Proxy 5 or maybe fping 5)....

Make sure you're using the latest version of Zabbix 5.0.x, as there have been some fixes specific to fping 5.0 incorporated in very recent versions.

I confirm this error. As a workaround, you can use fping 4 version again.

OK. So I have to wait for Zabbix-Proxy 5.0.5 to come to OPNSense (current version is 5.0.4)

(using fping4 is not really an "easy" option on OPNSense)

Just download the appropriate fping4 package and replace the executable file in the system.
Do not use pkg or something similar.
