Template: Import Failed - Cannot read XML: (68) StartTag: invalid element name

Hi All,

I am trying to import a template to monitor NetApp: Zabbix Share - NETAPP ONTAP 9.5

I receive the error: Cannot import Template: Import Failed - Cannot read XML: (68) StartTag: invalid element name [Line: 3016 | Column: 71

It seems it doesn't accept this: <> at line 3016 and colum 71

<expression>{Template SNMP NetApp cDot:dfStatus[{#SNMPINDEX}].last()}<>2</expression>

Anyone has an idea how to fix it?

Replace with " = " in the template and after importing, find this trigger and return the condition back to "<>"

Hi can you help mi with similar issue with template "MSSQL by ODBC"

• Cannot read XML: (68) StartTag: invalid element name [Line: 296 | Column: 73].

i have zabbix 6.0 LTS
template downloaded from

but also template for 6.4 not wroking with same issue.

I have native yaml converted to xml

line "296 - Columnt 73 ">"
<expression>max(/MSSQL by ODBC/mssql.buffer_cache_hit_ratio,5m)<{$MSSQL.BUFFER_CA CHE_RATIO.MIN.CRIT}
but still no luck.
