Upgarde from 2.0.3 appliance to 2.4.1 appliance

HI,

i have zabbix appliance in production with 2.0.3 installed, wanted to upgrade to 2.4.1 appliance,

I tried to migrate the database, from 2.0.3 dint work is there any clear way of doing this upgrade?

you would have to install 2.4 (preferably, 2.4.5 or the upcoming 2.4.6) and then the database upgrade should be fully automatic.

as for packages themselves, there is no automated process for that. upgrading to later versions is supported since appliance 2.4.

so you are recommending a separate installation of 2.4.5 or 2.4.6 and then how i migrate the database to the new one ?

personally i'd probably suggest waiting for the 2.4.6 appliance, then migrating the database to it

migrating the database - that would be the standard procedure of mysldump & then restoring it
